San Antonio Trip - SAICFF

Today we leave for San Antonio, TX. Our Family is attending the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival which is a project of Doug Phillips and The Vision Forum. Please note on their websites that Samaritan Ministries International SMI (where I work) is a sponsor of this event. SMI will also be presenting a $1000 cash prize to the winner of the “Viewers Choice” award

We will drive to New Franklin, MO tonight to stay with my Aunt Betty and my Aunt Twila (my mothers sisters) and visit with my Grandma Bozarth tomorrow morning. After our visit we will be heading to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in southern Oklahoma for a night of camping. Saturday we will arrive in Canyon Lake, TX just north of San Antonio where we will be staying for a whole week.

We will be staying in a two bedroom condo that became available (no charge PTL and thank you Ted) to us a couple days ago.

We plan to take pictures on this trip if we can get our camera back up and running. I will try to post while in Texas if we have internet.

So, stay tuned…

We Need Your Help

Hello Fellow Homeschoolers,

Several summers ago the boys and I spent many grueling days in the heat of August delivering telephone books throughout Marquette Heights with a goal in mind. We wanted to purchase the Robinson Curriculum. The curriculum has quite an extraordinary library included on the set of CD's. We have enjoyed many books which are out of print.

As a favor to one of the homeschooling families we know I loaned the set of CD's out for "a few weeks" while we were taking a break from school. I am embarassed to say I cannot remember who I loaned it to but I do recall we were still living in Marquette Heights at the time. If any of you remember borrowing the set please, please, please let me know. My boys are rightfully disappointed in my carelessness and I would like to remedy the situation. Also feel free to forward this request to other homeschoolers we know as my contact list is not very complete.

Thank you all and may God bless you,

Kim
